The Lithuanian Business Visa Type C typically allows for a single or multiple entries, granting the holder the freedom to leave and re-enter the Schengen Area within the visa’s validity period. Visa validity varies depending on individual circumstances, but it usually ranges from one month to one year.

To apply for the Schengen Business Visa Type C for Lithuania, applicants must demonstrate a genuine intention to engage in business activities. This may include attending trade fairs, meeting potential business partners or clients, negotiating contracts, exploring investment opportunities, or having their own company registered in Lithuania.

Applicants must furnish various supporting documents, which may include:

  • A valid passport with a minimum of three months validity beyond the intended stay.
  • Completed visa application form.
  • Proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros, valid across all Schengen countries.
  • An invitation letter from the Lithuanian company and MIGRIS number.
  • Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the cost of stay in Lithuania (700eur/month)

  • Additional documents may be requested based on the applicant’s specific circumstances.

National Long term Lithuanian Business visa type D

To be eligible for a national visa to Lithuania, you must be a participant in a company that was registered in the Register of Legal Entities within the past year. The company’s equity capital must be at least €28,000, and at least €14,000 of that must be your own invested funds. You must also be coming to Lithuania to engage in legal activities.

Visa Validity and Multiple Entry Option

The national Type D visa for Lithuania is a multiple entry visa and may be issued for a maximum period of 1 year. This visa allows the person to stay in Lithuania all year long and travel visa free through all Schengen zone member countries.

To apply for a national type D visa the applicant must establish a company in Lithuania with a share capital of 28’000Eur. Each shareholder of the company has to deposit at least 14’000Eur to the company bank account to qualify for a visa. Under a single company structure a total of 4 persons may qualify for a D type visa: 1 managing director and three shareholders.
